Asscher Cut Halo with Onyx Inlay

A piece inspired by the Art Deco period, hand forged in platinum. The center stone is a GIA certified 1.32ct D-VS1 Asscher Cut Diamond. The center gem is set in a double halo with an inner layer of onyx and an outer layer of pave set single cut diamonds which results in alternating of contrast and texture from a center diamond to onyx and then pave set melee. The onyx creates contrasts beautifully against then platinum metal and diamonds creating a bold visual. The band additionally includes pave set shoulders.

The most traditional pavé with each diamond sitting between two polished metal walls which is sometimes termed bead set or channel set pave. The walls here are accented by "milgrain" beading which adds a vintage touch to the pave. The bright cut walls shield the diamonds' girdles from damage making it the most durable pavé and a natural fit for vintage-inspired designs.
